# AI tools

> Stand-alone AI tools for images, video clips, music, avatars, motion control, upscaling and ideas — what each one makes, what it costs and where the results go.

Besides full videos, Crealix has seven stand-alone AI tools. Open them from the **AI Tools** group in the sidebar. Everything they make is saved to your [media library](https://docs.crealix.ai/workspace/media-library.md), so you can drop it into any video with **Library** in the editor.

## What each tool makes and costs

| Tool | What you get | Cost |

| **AI Images** | 1 to 4 images per generation | 1, 3 or 12 credits per image (Low, Medium, High) with the default model |
| **AI Clips** | Video clips up to 30 seconds, some with sound | Per second, by model and resolution — a 5-second 768p clip with MiniMax H3 Max Turbo costs 11 credits |
| **AI Music** | A full song or an instrumental | 5 credits per track |
| **Avatars** | A presenter speaking your script or audio | 3 to 8 credits per second of video, by model |
| **Motion Control** | Your character performing a reference motion | 4 credits per second (Standard) or 6 (Pro) |
| **AI Upscaler** | A sharper 1080p, 2K or 4K copy | Images 1–3 credits · video 0.39–1.52 credits per second |
| **Ideas Finder** | An idea, a hook and a full script | 2 credits (up to 3 minutes) or 3 credits (5 to 20 minutes) |

Prices with other models are shown in each tool before you generate.

## How the tools work

Every tool follows the same layout: **settings** on the left, the **canvas** in the middle with the prompt bar at the bottom, and a **History** panel on the right.

* **You always see the cost first.** It's on the generate button before you click, and **credits are only charged when a generation starts**.
* **Failed generations are refunded** automatically.
* **Run several at once.** Up to 5 generations in parallel per tool (3 for the upscaler) — start a few variations and keep working while they finish.
* **History keeps everything.** Reopen and download past results, and jump to the full list in your media library.
* **Combine them.** Make an image in **Images**, animate it in **AI Clips** with *Image to Video*, give it a voice with **Avatars**, then sharpen it with the **Upscaler**.
